GRADUATE MINE SURVEYOR

PT Petrosea Tbk has been designing, building and mining in all corners
of Indonesia since 1972 and today is recognized as one of Indonesia s
leading mining, engineering, and construction contractors with
international standard capabilities. Due to our rapid growth at present,
we are currently taking applicants for below position:

GRADUATE MINE SURVEYOR

• Support and assist mining surveyor at surface mine sites to implement
mine design and obtain data used in planning & mining operations
including monitoring pit & dump progress, productivity and
submission of progress claims align with company’s policies and rules
• The graduate surveyor will gain valuable experience in all disciplines
of mine engineering based on a pre-determined rotation program.

Requirements:

1. Fresh graduate from Geodetic or other major related to mine survey
2. Willing to learn and undertake on the job training
3. Must be prepared to develop industry skills and willing to take instructions from others
4. Fluent in English written and spoken
5. Willing to be assigned in all project mining locations
6. Self-motivated, good interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

1) Assist Mining Surveyor to produce, collect and develop survey data
and maintain the database to ensure the accordance with the set of
standard procedures and systems
2) Assist with the implementation of the BMP (Business Mining Petrosea)
system through leadership of technical assistants, production of
accurate and timely reports, and troubleshooting problems encountered
with the system
3) Work with the Mining Engineers to contribute to the compilation of monthly progress claims
4) Conduct survey assistant in good time and accurately determine
quantities necessary for the submission of monthly progress claims
5) Work to attain a very high proficiency in the use of mine planning software
6) Coach and mentor Survey Assistant and provide them with skills in
order to collect the survey pick-up in the absence of a Surveyor
.
